Apparently, the order of minor punishment i.e. censure was passed on 12.10.2015. An appeal was preferred against it on 09.01.2016 which was decided on 16.04.2016. A revision was filed under Rule 23 of the U.P. Police Officers of the Subordinate Rank (Punishment and Appeal) Rules 1991 (in short 'the Rule, 1991') on 10.05.2016 and it was dismissed on 06.06.2016. Thereafter, the petitioner submitted a representation on 19.07.2016 as claimed with reference to Rule 25 of the Rules, 1991 which was decided on 29.07.2020 and thereafter within one year of passing of the said order, the claim petition was filed, therefore, the petitioner says that claim petition was within limitation. 3.
