Learned Standing Counsel raises a preliminary objection regarding maintainability of this petition on the ground of availability of alternative remedy of revision. 2. Learned counsel for petitioner could not meet the preliminary objection. 3. In view of the above, I decline to granted indulgence in the matter at this stage. . However it is provided that in the event petitioner prefers revision before the competent authority within a period of four weeks from today, the competent authority sitting in revision is directed to dispose of the revision of the petitioner within a further period of two months by means of reasoned and speaking order.
