By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner has prayed for writ of mandamus to command respondent no.2 to consider the request of the petitioner for compassionate appointment made vide application dated 10.07.2024. 3. It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that husband of the petitioner died on 22.06.2024 while working on the post of baildar in respondent-establishment. 4. Learned Standing counsel submits that no details have been brought on record to the status of the husband of the petitioner so as to justify the claim but he is not averse to the direction being issued to the concerned competent respondent to decide the representation of the petitioner in a time bound period and in accordance with law. 5.
