Heard Sri Krishna Mohan Ojha, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State respondents. By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner has prayed for a direction in the nature of writ of mandamus to command the respondent No.- 3 to consider the claim of the petitioner for compassionate appointment as her husband died on 25th April, 2022. It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner’s husband was earlier dismissed from employment but vide order passed by the State Services Tribunal he was reinstated and State has unsuccessfully contested the matter before the High Court. In the circumstances, therefore, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that her application seeking compassionate appointment ought to have been disposed of on merits within maximum period of six months in the light of the judgment of Supreme Court in the
