By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner is seeking transfer from Mirzapur to Prayagraj as per the transfer policy. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in above regard petitioner's wife has already moved an application/ representation before the concerned authority but the same has remained pending till date. Learned Standing Counsel submits that instead of petitioner's wife petitioner should himself move an application before the competent authority, who may further be directed to dispose of the same in accordance with law and as per the transfer policy.
