Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC:144988 Court No. - 4 Case :- WRIT - A No. - 12108 of 2025 Petitioner :- Rajeev Kumar Singh Respondent :- The State Of U.P. And 4 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Atipriya Gautam,Shubham Tripathi,Sr. Advocate,Vinod Kumar Mishra Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C. Hon'ble Ajit Kumar,J. Heard Sri Vijay Gautam, learned Senior Advocate assisted by Sri Shubham Tripathi, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State respondents. By means of the petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner has prayed for quashing of the order of punishment as well as order passed by appellate authority rejecting the appeal. Learned Standing Counsel raises a preliminary objection as to the maintainability of this petition at this stage when the petitioner has an alternative efficacious remedy of revision before the competent authority under the Punishment and Appeal Rules. Learned Senior Advocate could not dispute the above. In view of the above, I decline to grant indulgence in the matter at this stage. However, it is provided that in the event petitioner prefers revision before the competent authority under the relevant rules
