By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner has prayed for a writ of mandamus to command the respondent No.- 5 to permit him to joining at the transferred place pursuant to the order dated 5th July, 2021 and consequential relieving order dated 7th July, 2025. It is contended by learned Senior Advocate that petitioner went to report for his joining after he was relieved on 7th July, 2025 but the petitioner was not given joining. Per contra, it is argued by learned Standing Counsel that since order of transfer was passed way back on 5th July, 2021, therefore, he could not have been relieved after expiry of four years as this Court has taken view previously in a number of cases that o
