By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, petitioner prays for a direction to the respondents concerned to consider the claim of the petitioner for promotion from the post of Anganbadi Sevika to Mukhya Sevika. 3. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is making representation after representation but till date no decision has been taken. 4. Upon a pointed query being made as to what are the number of vacancies available in promotion quota at the development block where the petitioner wants promotion, learned counsel for the petitioner could not demonstrate the status. 5. In the circumstances, this Court does not consider it appropriate to issue any direction for representations to be considered in the absence of any statistics qua availability of promotion quota. 6.
