By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner has prayed for following substantial relief: "(i). issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the concerned respondents to pay the increased arrears of Dearness Allowance (D.A.) from the year 2002-2003 to the year 2006-2007 and from the year 2009-2010 to 2019-2020, in the interest of justice." Learned counsel for the petitioner states that in above regard petitioner has already approached the authority concerned for consideration of his claim by means of a representation dated 7th November, 2024 which has remained pending till date. Learned Standing counsel has no objection in case if petitioner's representation is directed to be decided by the concerned competent respondent in a time bound period.
