By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner has prayed for following substantial relief: "(I). To issue a writ of mandamus commanding the respondent 2, Divisional Director, Social Forestry Department, Kanpur Nagar, appoint to the petitioner as daily wages labour in the concern department and pay minimum wages which has been claimed by the petitioner through representation dated 25.07.2025 (annexure no. 2 of the writ petition). (II). To issue, a writ of mandamus commanding the respondent no. 2, Divisional Director, Social Forestry Department, Kanpur Nagar, decide and pay the petitioner's claim which has been made by representation dated 04.04.2025 (annexure no.1 of this writ petition) by which the petitioner requested for payment of his pending amount (salary) Rs. 73,434/- (near about) with interest, is pending."
