By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner has prayed for a direction to the authority namely the respondent no. 3 to dispose of his pending representation dated 22.04.2025 seeking correction in his date of birth as 01.01.1972, whereas, the date of birth recorded is 30.01.1966. Learned Standing Counsel has raised an objection as to the maintainability of the claim of the petitioner at the fag end of his service as the petitioner has already attained the age of superannuation. It is submitted that if the original date of birth is changed and new allowed to be incorporated then petitioner would become minor on the date of entering into service.
