Hon'ble Ajit Kumar,J. Heard Sri Babu Lal Ram, learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Standing Counsel. By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner has questioned the order of punishment dated 12.09.2024. Learned Standing Counsel has raised preliminary objection as to the maintainability of this petition on the ground that there is an alternative efficacious remedy of statutory appeal available to the petitioner. To this above objection, learned counsel for the petitioner could not dispute. Accordingly, I decline to grant indulgence in the matter at this stage. However, it is provided that if petitioner prefers statutory departmental appeal under the relevant rules within a period of four weeks from today, the same shall be heard and disposed of within a further period of two months. With the aforesaid observations and directions, this petition stands disposed of. Order Date :- 12.8.2025 IrfanUddin Digitall
