By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner has prayed for a writ of mandamus to command the respondents to consider the request of the petitioner for transfer from Bareilly to Moradabad as he has only one year to go in his retirement. It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that as per the transfer policy dated 6th May, 2025 petitioner's representation is liable to be considered and disposed of in accordance with law. It is also contended that post upon which petitioner can be transferred at Moradabad has already been intimated to be vacant to the authority concerned. Learned Standing Counsel states that he has no objection in the event a direction is issued for disposal of the representation of the petitioner dated 21st May, 2025 by the competent authority, namely respondent No.- 2 in accordance with law. In view of th
