By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner has prayed for a writ of mandamus to command the respondents to re-fix the salary of the petitioners after adding the previous services rendered by them in the armed forces. It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that controversy is no more res integra in the light of the judgment of this Court in bunch of cases, the leading one being Writ - A No.- 10689 of 2024 (Sita Ram Sharma and others v. State of U.P. and others) decided on 9th April, 2025. Learned Standing Counsel does not dispute the same. In view of the above, this petition stands disposed of in terms of the order passed by this Court in the case of Sita Ram Sharma (supra) and the petitioners are directed to make representation in respect of their grievance, which shall be looked into and dispose
