By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, petitioner has prayed for a direction to the respondents concerned to pay the pensionary benefits alongwith interest to the petitioner which has remained due to be paid to him since 1998 when he attained age of superannuation. 3. It transpires from the record that the petitioner's pension payment order previously in the year 1999 could not be acted upon and hence became ineffective for which the Sub-Divisional Officer concerned passed an order dated 25.01.2025 that petitioner should approach the Treasury Officer for the said purpose so that his pension payment order may be revived. 4.
