Hon'ble Ajit Kumar,J. 1. Heard learned counsel for the parties. 2. By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, petitioner is claiming promotion on the post of Head Constable and is aggrieved for non opening of his sealed cover envelope in which his candidature was placed in the year 2022 by the Departmental Promotion Committee. 3. In the light of Paragraph no.10 of the Government Order dated 28.05.1997, petitioner is entitled to ad hoc promotion by opening the sealed cover as the petitioner has not been responsible in any manner for the delay in disposal of the criminal case. 3. Learned Standing counsel submits that the petitioner can make a representation afresh which can be directed to be disposed of by the concerned respondents in accordance with law. 4.
