Heard learned Counsel for the petitioner and the Standing Counsel. 2. The present petition has been filed with the following prayer : "issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus thereby commanding the opposite party No. 2 to 4 to remove the illegal encroachment from the public utility land (Naveen Parti, Rasta and Banjar land) bearing Gata No. 182/0.024 hectare and 183/0.0393 hectare, situated at Village-Lalpur, Tehsil and District-Gonda." 3. Learned Standing Counsel, on the basis of the instructions, states that the proceedings under section 67 of the U.P. Revenue Code have already been initiated. 4. In view of the said statement, it is directed that the pending proceedings shall be concluded expeditiously in accordance with law. 5.
