The present petition has been filed by the petitioner as a PIL with the following relief : "Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the opposite party no. 2 and 3 to directing the opposite parties to restrain the private opposite party no. 5 for encroaching over government land bearing gata no. 542kha/1.2450 hect., situated at Village-Chilbili, Pargana Amethi, Tehsil-Gauriganj, District- Amethi is registered in the name of category 6(2) Abadi, and also initiate enquiry against the guilty person in accordance with law." 3.
