HON'BLE MANISH KUMAR, J. 1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Aftab Ahmad, learned counsel for Nagar Palika Parishad. 2. The temple in respect to which this petition has been filed allegedly in public interest is a private temple. We fail to understand as to how a writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is maintainable in respect thereof. 3. Learned Addl. C.S.C. says that there is a dispute between two private persons who have some say in the management of the temple. 4. This is not a matter for interference under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. Petitioner, if he has a cause and locus standi, can avail other remedies whether under civil or criminal law. 5. Accordingly, the petition is disposed of. (Manish Kumar,J.) (Rajan Roy,J.) August 25, 2025 Shanu/- Digit
