The present petition has been filed with the following relief: "(i) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the opp. parties to take action and remove the illegal encroachment from the pond land gata no. 786ka/0.2000 hect. recorded as Pond land in revenue records Shreni 6(1), and land gata no. 785/0.9140 hect., recorded as kumhar gaddha in the revenue records, situated in Village Pure Sukhdev Bajaha, Tehsil - Sadar, District -Pratapgarh, which is public utility land recorded in revenue records, in the complicance of circular dated 8.5.2017 issued by Govt. of U.P. for removing the illegal encroachment from public utility land by taskforce which is contained as annexure no. 8 & 6 to this writ petition, in the interest of justice." 3.
