This petition, purportedly in public interest, has been filed by the petitioner alleging encroachment by respondents No.5 and 6 over a land in question which is recorded as Ambedkar Park in the revenue records. 2. A perusal of the petition indicates that except for the bald averments made in the petition and making cursory applications before the authorities, nothing has been produced on record to substantiate the allegations made in the petition. Qua lack of any material on record, no case for entertaining the petition purportedly in public interest is made out. 3. The petition is, therefore, dismissed leaving it open for the petitioner to take appropriate proceedings in accordance with law.
