[hereinafter referred to as „IOCL‟] purchased a plot [hereinafter referred to as „suit property‟], located in Village Pehar Khurad, Rajpura, Patiala (Punjab), from Mr. Shabeg Singh S/o Mr. Narain Singh, on 31.12.1990.
