The instant bail application has been filed on behalf of the applicant, Ramuddesh with a prayer to release him on bail in Case Crime No.194 pf 2024, under Section 3 and 5(1) of Uttar Pradesh Prohibition on Unlawful Conversion of Religion Act, 2021, Police Station Sinduriya, District Maharajganj, during pendency of trial. 3. The applicant is named in the First Information Report. It has been alleged in the F.I.R. that applicant had tried to convert the religion of the husband of the informant from hindu to christian 4. Learned counsel for the applicant has submitted that he has not committed any offence. During course of trial the informant Chanda and her husband Anil have been examined. They have not supported the prosecution version and have been declared hostile.
