By means of this bail application, applicant Anoop Kumar Giri, who is involved in Case Crime No. 0206 of 2025, under Sections 3/5A/8 and 5B of Uttar Pradesh Prevention of Cow Slaughter Act, 1955 and Section 11 of Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960, police station Syed Raja, district Chandauli, seeks enlargement on bail during the pendency of trial. It is argued by learned counsel for the applicant that it is not a case of slaughtering of cows. As per prosecution case, it is alleged that vehicle no. UP65T3199 was apprehended by the police wherein cows were found which were being transported to West Bengal. It is next submitted that the applicant has been falsely implicated in this case.
