The present bail application, seeking bail, has been moved by the applicant- accused-Umesh Rajput in Case No.38 of 2025, under Sections 8/20 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, Police Station Mahobkanth, District Mahoba. 3. Learned counsel for the accused-applicant contends that accused has been apprehended with 26.447 kg of Ganja, which has been recovered from three gunny bags kept on the road side. Since arrest and recovery has been made in absence of independent witness, false implication of the applicant cannot be ruled out. Co- accused-Manish Rajput has already been granted bail by coordinate Bench of this Court. The applicant is languishing in jail since March,2025.
