Mishra, learned counsel for the appellant, and learned AGA for the State. 2. The present criminal appeal arises from the judgment and order dated 27th November, 1984 passed by Sri A.B. Shukla, learned VIIth Additional District & Sessions Judge, Agra in Sessions Trial No. 23/1984 State Vs. Ram Ratan whereby the learned Court below has convicted the present appellant under Section 302 I.P.C. and sentenced him for life. The appellant is on bail. 3. The prosecution story emerges from the Written Report submitted by Ram Vilas, brother of the deceased Smt. Sarla. It was narrated, the deceased had been married to the present appellant six years ago. The couple had two children, a four-year-old boy and a two-year-old girl. They lived in their house at Nagla Padi. The appellant was unhappy at insufficient dowry given to him at the time of marriage. He
