Present criminal appeal arises from the judgement and order dated 24.01.1985, passed by Sri U.S.Gupta, Sessions Judge, Bareilly in S.T. No. 290 of 1984, (State versus Jaspal and Amarjeet). Thereby appellant no. 1. Jaspal has been convicted for offence under Section 302 IPC and sentenced for life. Appellant no. 2, Amarjeet has been convicted for the offence under Section 302 read with 34 IPC and sentenced for life. Both the appellants are on bail. 3.
