Chief Judicial Magistrate, Meerut vide letter dated 21.05.2022 has informed this Court that sole appellant Jagat Singh has already passed away on 28.12.2014. 3. In verification of his death, statement of Rohtash, real brother of the deceased has been recorded. Death certificate issued by Government of Uttar Pradesh has been annexed. Police report of S.I. Mohammad Shakir of Police Station Parkshit Garh, District Meerut has also been annexed. 4. Learned AGA could not dispute the aforesaid facts. 5. In view of the above, since the sole appellant has already passed away, the instant criminal appeal is dismissed as having been abated.
