Present criminal appeal arises from the judgement and order dated 29.03.1984, passed by Sri Tirathraj, IIIrd Additional Sessions Judge, Banda in S.T. No. 221 of 1981, (State Versus Chanda, Khutian, Swayamber and Bhagwati). By that judgement and order, the learned Court below has convicted the present appellants for offence under Section 304(1) IPC read with Section 149 I.P.C. and sentenced them for life. Also, it has convicted them for offence under Section 147 I.P.C, and sentenced them for one year. Third, it has convicted them for offence under Section 323 I.P.C. read with Section 149 I.P.C., and sentenced them for six months together with fine Rs. 500/- and default sentence of three months.
