This is a petition under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, seeking quashing of FIR No. 375/2016, dated 26.04.2016, registered at P.S Vikaspuri, Delhi under Sections 406/468/471/120B/34 IPC and all proceedings emanating therefrom on the basis of settlement between the parties. 2. As per averments made in the FIR, Respondent No. 2, owner of a car dealership in Vikas Puri, purchased a Swift car bearing vehicle CRL.M.C. 5759/2025 Page 1 of 4 Signature Not Verified Digitally Signed By:VAISHALI PRUTHI Signing Date:22.08.2025 13:27:31 no. DL5CL1424 for Rs. 5.2 lakh, allegedly owned by petitioner no. 4 from petitioner nos. 1-3. However, after making the payment of Rs. 4.7 lakh in cash and receiving the car along it’s documents, the said vehicle was subsequently seized by bank authorities due to a fraudulent sale with forged documents and NOC. Chargesheet has since been filed under sections 406/419/420/468/471/120B/34 IPC against the petitioners. 3. During the course of proceedings, the parties amicably resolved their disputes and the terms of the compromise were reduced into writing in the form of a Mediation Settlement dated 10.06.2025 at Mediation Centre, Dwarka Courts, New Delhi.
