This petition is directed against order dated 30.07.2024 passed under Section 73 of the Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (for short 'the Act') wherein a demand of Rs. 6,47,889/- has been raised in the name of Shakuntala Gupta. 2. The petitioner Guru Sharn Lal Gupta, husband of deceased Shakuntala Gupta has filed the petition inter alia with the submissions that Shakuntala Gupta died on 19.04.2021 and on account of his death, the GST registration of the proprietorship firm Shakuntala Gupta, which was in the name of deceased Shakuntala Gupta, was cancelled with effect from 24.05.2021.
