This petition has been filed, inter alia, seeking direction to respondents no. 3 and 4 to issue excise license to the petitioners and also to permit the petitioners to run their respective liquor shops for the excise year 2025-26. 2. Submissions have been made that pursuant to the exercise undertaken by the respondents pursuant to the Government Order dated 06.02.2025, the petitioners have been allotted shop/shops in question. It is sought to be indicated that though they have complied with the requirements, they have not been issued the license. 3. The petition has been filed on 24.03.2025. Admittedly, the excise year starts from 01.04.2025 and the petitioners are running their shops. It is submitted that they have been issued provisional license and permanent license has not been issued so far. 4. Learned St
