This writ petition is directed against attachment notice dated 05.03.2025 issued by the respondents in relation to the premises in possession of the petitioner as tenant. 2. Submissions have been made that though the assessment pertaining to the portion in possession of the petitioner has been made at Rs. 5,068/- per year, on account of the previous assessments made pertaining to the entire building and despite the fact that under coercion the petitioner has deposited Rs. 4,00,000/-, again a demand of Rs. 2,53,287/- has been made and the notice for attachment has been issued. 3. The petitioner immediately on publication of the said notice in the newspaper, has filed his objections on 08.03.2025 indicating the entire factual situation.
