The instant writ petition has been filed with the following main prayer :- "(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus thereby commanding and directing the opposite party no.2 to issue the consent order in pursuance of the application filed by the petitioner on 09.04.2025 before the opposite party no.1 in favour of the petitioner with immediate effect, in the interest of justice." 3. An application for renewal of the C.T.O., filed on 09.04.2025, is pending. 4. The competent authority is hereby directed to consider and finalize said application at the earliest and preferably within the statutory period applicable in accordance with law. 5.
