This is a writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India wherein the writ petitioner has prayed for the following substantial reliefs: "1. Issue a writ, order, rule or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the order dated 16.1.2025 passed by the Addl. Superintendent of police District Jaunpur (Annexure no 1). 2. Issue a writ, order, rule or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to issue character certificate to the petitioner." 3.
