This is a writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India wherein the writ petitioner has prayed for the following relief: "Issue a writ of Mandamus commanding respondent No.2 to finalize the permanent disconnection of the petitioner since the date of temporary disconnection giving benefit of Clause 4.38 of U.P. Electricity Supply Code, 2005." 3. Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents submits that to finalise the bill, the petitioner is required to be present on the spot.
