Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Standing Counsel. 2. By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner prays for a writ of certiorari to quash the entire result of the selection of U.P. Police Constable declared by the respondent no. 2 on 13.03.2025. 3. It is argued on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner on the very date on which physical standard test was scheduled i.e. 21.02.2025 she was pregnant hence she could not participate and requested for another date to be rescheduled after her delivery. However, her request has remained unheard. 4. Learned Standing Counsel has raised preliminary objection as to the maintainability of this petition firstly on the ground that once the entire result has been challenged, the selected candidates have not been impleaded as respondents and therefore, petition liable to be dismissed for non-joinder of necessary party.
