Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Standing Counsel. By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner wants expeditious disposal of pending departmental proceedings against him as he is going to retire on 31.05.2025. It transpires from the records that petitioner has been issued with show cause notice on 09.10.2024 of which the reply has been submitted by the petitioner on 22.10.2024. In the given facts and circumstances of the case, this petition stands disposed of with a direction to the disciplinary authority namely the respondent no. 2 to conclude the entire disciplinary proceedings pending before him against the petitioner strictly in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
