By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner has questioned the final selection result published in the U.P. Police Direct Recruitment, 2023. Upon a pointed query being made as to what are the grounds to assail the result, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has not been informed about the normalized marks that have been awarded to him. In my considered view merely because the petitioner has not been furnished his normalized marks, it cannot itself be a ground to question the result and hence I decline to grant indulgence in the matter. However, it is provided that in the event petitioner applies for normalized marks before the respondent no. 2 within a period of two weeks, the same shall be furnished to him within a further period of two weeks.
