By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner has prayed for following relief as substantial relief: "i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents to pay the amount of G.P.F. payable since 30.09.2023 along with the interest, accrued thereon for which the petitioner is entitled, in his favour." It appears from the records that in the above regard petitioner has already moved several representations and the last representation is dated 13.11.2024 which is still pending. Learned Standing Counsel submits that he has no objection in the event this petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 2 to look into and consider the grievance of the petitioner and pass appropriate order strictly in accordance with law.
