Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner prayed for following substantive relief: "a). Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondents/ District Magistrate Siddharth Nagar/ respondent No.- 2 to consider the candidature of the petitioner for the post of Aganbari Karyakatri and issued appointment letter to the petitioner, within stipulated period fixed by this Hon'ble Court."
