By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner prays for a writ of mandamus to command respondent No.- 2 to consider her representation dated 4th March, 2025 for appointment as Auxiliary Nurse Midwife as petitioner possesses the requisite qualification and there are vacancy lying with the State Government. Learned Standing Counsel raises objection with regard to the maintainability of petition at this stage. He submits that every selection and appointment in public domain has to be always geared into motion by issuing advertisement of the vacancies so as to apply a procedure in consonance with the principle as enshrined under Article 14 of the Constitution and in absence of there being any advertisement, no claim for representation as such can be directed to be co
