Petitioner in this petition is challenging the order dated 8th February, 2017, whereby his representation dated 25th January, 2016 for reinstatement in service has been rejected solely on the ground that the Government Order dated 2nd December, 2016 provided for a representation to be made within a period of six years of cause of action. 3. It is argued on behalf of petitioner that since representation was made on 15th January, 2016, the same could not have been rejected on the ground of delay or barred by limitation of six years as the Government Order came subsequently to be issued only on 2nd December, 2016.
