It is submitted by learned Standing Counsel that the petitioner's candidature has been rejected on twin grounds: firstly, petitioner could not submit her income certificate after the notification of vacancy i.e. 01.10.2024 as her income certificate has been of the prior date and, hence, as per the provisions contained in the Government Order vide clause Cha (III) petitioner's candidature was liable to be rejected and the other ground taken is that petitioner does not fall within the Widow (BPL) category. 4.
