By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, the petitioner has prayed for a writ of mandamus to allocate the remaining vacant posts of Sub Inspector, Civil Police and Platoon Commander to the selection held in respect of advertisement issued on 19.05.2011. 3. Upon a pointed query being made as to why the petitioner is approaching this Court after a lapse of 13 years of issuance of advertisement, it is submitted by Sri Satyendra Kumar Dwivedi, learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner was invited for document verification in the year 2015 and the matter remained pending before the Supreme Court. The only explanation offered for delay is that he has been making repeated representations and there are certain identical petitions
