By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner has prayed for following substantial relief: "(i). Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent no. 2, Consolidation Commissioner, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow to provide the promotion to the petitioner to the post of Assistant Consolidation Officer from 03.10.2023, the date from which Juniors to the petitioner (as mentioned in para 17 of the writ petition) has been granted promotion to the post of Assistant Consolidation Officer and provide all the consequential benefits to him." Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in above regard petitioner has already moved representation dated 7th December, 2024 before the respondent No.- 2 but the same has not been decided till date.
