By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioners have approached this Court only for the reason that the petitioners' regular pension was not being paid and also for payment of the amount that has remained withheld. This Court while passing the order on 20th February, 2025 had directed the respondents to make payment of the amount that has remained withheld and also to ensure regular payment of pension and file affidavit of compliance. 3. Today, a compliance affidavit has been filed. In paragraph-10 of compliance affidavit, it has been stated that arrears of pensions have already been paid to the petitioners and regular pension, w.e.f., January, 2025 is being paid and assurance has also been given that in future the pension will be regularly paid to the petitioners.
