Petitioner in this petition seeks compassionate appointment on the ground of his father died-in-harness in the year 2016. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner applied for compassionate appointment in the year 2020 and with regard to the same, some recommendation has been made by the Competent Authority, namely, Circle Officer, District Etah on 26th June, 2024, copy whereby has been brought on record as annexure-5 to the present petition but nothing further has progressed. 4. In the given facts and circumstances, this petition stands disposed of with a direction to the Competent Authority, namely, respondent no. 2 to pass appropriate order upon the recommendation made by the Circle Officer, after affording opportunity of hearing to respondent no. 4 within a maximum period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
