By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner has prayed for following substantial relief:- "(i) To issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus, directing the respondents to rectify the fixation of pension of petitioner as per the pay fixation of similarly/junior employees of the department." 3. Learned Standing counsel submits that he has no objection, in the event, petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation before the Competent Authority, namely, respondent no. 3, which may be directed to be disposed of in accordance with law. 4.
