This petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution is directed against the order of suspension dated 04.02.2025 passed against the petitioner by District Panchayat Raj Officer, Amroha. The legal plea taken in the petition is that as per the circular issued by the State Government on 19.03.2021 in the event any disciplinary proceeding is sought to be initiated against the Gram Panchayat Adhikari by the District Panchayat Raj Officer or Incharge District Panchayat Raj Officer the prior approval of the Chief Development Officer would be necessary. Considering the plea raised in the petition, instructions were required from the learned Standing Counsel as to whether any prior approval was obtained in the matter of suspension of the petitioner or not.
